Use of the website www.extraweit-berlin.de is generally possible without submitting any personal data. Which data from which personal data can be deducted are recorded during use of this website - just as on any other website - for technical reasons, e.g. on the servers of the hoster, is described in the paragraph "Server log files".
Transmission of personal data
Personal data that the users submit to the operator voluntarily – e.g. in the scope of contact through the email form – are forwarded to the operator SSL-encrypted (email). Your personal data submitted in this manner are saved for processing of your query and for the case that there are any subsequent questions. Storage and processing of your personal data takes place in correspondence with the applicable data privacy provisions. Your personal data will only be used at the scope and for the purpose to which you have consented towards the operator. They will not be passed on to any third parties.
We will gladly provide information on which of your personal data will be saved by the operator and for what use you have given your consent to the operator upon your query by mail or email.
Your consent to use of your personal data can be changed or revoked entirely at any time, effective for the future, by mail or email. If you revoke use of your personal data, they will be deleted entirely. Reactivation at a later time will no longer be possible.
In order to make the data transfer as safe as possible, this website uses SSL encryption. This can be seen by the prefix https://...). Nevertheless, electronic communication can never be entirely safe. All data and information that you call and/or submit online can be acquired illegally by third parties. We cannot assume any responsibility or liability at disclosure of information due to error and/or illegal access of third parties during data transmission. Therefore, you can always submit any messages and personal data to us on an alternative path as well, e.g. by phone or mail.
Server log files
Every time a user accesses a page from the offer www.extraweit-berlin.de and every time a file is called, your internet service provider will save data on this process in server log files. The following may be recorded:
- the page from which the file was requested
- the file name of the file called
- the date and time of the call
- the data volume to be transmitted
- the access status (file transmitted, file not found, etc.)
- designation of the web browser used
- the IP-address of the requesting device
- the requesting provider
- the operating system of the requesting device
and other similar information that serves to defend against danger in case of attacks on the systems of the provider.
This information is needed to correctly deliver the contents of this website to you, to ensure safety of the information-technical system and the provider's technology and to meet the obligation to provide criminal investigation authorities with the information needed in case of a cyber attack.
These data are saved on the provider's server and only used anonymised for statistical purposes via use of the website. Conclusions to individual persons and their usage behavior cannot be drawn from this. Data will not be passed on to any third parties, even in excerpts. The statutory obligation towards the relevant authorities to subsequently review these data or to have them reviewed if specific indications for illegal use become known is reserved.
In the scope of this website, it is possible to register for receiving an email newsletter from the provider. This newsletter is dispatched via the service provider cleverelements.com located in Germany. The personal data submitted to cleverelements.com when you subscribe to the newsletter are evident in the input mask when you register for receiving the newsletter.
The email newsletter generally can only be sent when the registering person has indicated a valid email address and expressly registered for receiving the newsletter. A confirmation email is sent to the email address indicated at registration. This confirmation email serves to review and confirm that the owner of the email address actually authorized receipt of the newsletter (double opt-in).
When registering for the newsletter, the IP address of the computer system used by the data subject at the time of registration and the date and time of the registration are saved as well.
These data must be recorded, among others to track any abuse of the email address at a later time and to meet the documentation and information obligations towards the data subject.
The personal data collected in the scope of registration for the email newsletter are only used for sending out the email newsletter and will not be passed on to any third parties. In addition to this, registered recipients of the email newsletter can also be contacted by personal email if this is necessary for operating the newsletter service or to register for it.
The consent to storage and use of the personal data can also be revoked at any time via the corresponding link that is included in every newsletter.
The extraweit email newsletters sent in HTML format contain tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is an embedded miniature graphic that makes it possible to set up a log file record to statistically evaluate the success or lack of success of the email newsletter dispatch. For example, this makes it possible to check if the email newsletter was delivered, if the email address is still active, if and when the email newsletter was opened and which links in the email newsletter were called.
Such data from which personal data can be deducted will not be passed on to any third parties either. The consent to storage and use of data from which personal data can be deducted can be revoked at any time, e.g. via the corresponding link that is included in every newsletter.
Profiling and automated decision-making
extraweit Modehandel und Design GmbH uses no methods for automated decision-making and/or profiling.
Independent deletion of personal data
Personal data are only saved for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of saving. If the purpose of saving them is lost or if a legally required storage period expires, the personal data will be deleted automatically.
German and European data privacy law includes many rights regarding your personal data. In particular, you have the right to demand confirmation of whether any personal data on you are processed, information on which personal data are saved and processed, for which purpose the data are used and, if possible, the planned duration for which the personal data are saved or, if this is not possible, the criteria for determination of this duration, at any time. You also have the right to demand correction or deletion of the personal data referring to you and to limit their use or to object to their use entirely. You may demand information on the origin of the personal data and that the respective personal data be transferred to you in a structured, common and machine-readable format. You are free to subsequently send these data to another data controller. You may even demand that we transfer your personal data to another data controller directly – as far as this is technically feasible and does not impair the rights and freedoms of any other persons.
Of course, you can also file a complaint about us with the relevant supervisory authority. Officer for data privacy and freedom of information in Berlin
